A dairy brand in Karnataka has introduced two new flavours of ice cream “with ingredients to boost immunity” in the wake of the novel coronavirus outbreak. Turmeric and Chyawanprash are the two new flavours of ice cream that Dairy Day Plus launched last week.
In a post on social media, the dairy brand said that the Haldi ice cream is loaded with the “goodness of pepper and honey” apart from turmeric of course. The Chyawanprash ice cream contains amla, dates and honey. The video showed workers packaging the ice cream in the factory.
“Ice cream and healthy? We made it possible. Presenting, first time in India, Dairy Day PLUS ice creams with immunity-boosting Chyawanprash and Haldi. Pamper your kids, family and friends with sweet and strong delights. #Health is the new #cool,” the dairy brand said in the caption of their post.

Well, Chyawanprash ice cream was launched with a favourable intention but the thing is that Twitter doesn’t even want to discuss about it. Forget, trying it.
“What what what who wants to eat this??? Yikessssss,” a user said.
“Yikes,” is also what Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap Khurrana said in a post on Twitter. Several others posted crying emojis and memes that expressed their disgust over the product.
“Never gonna try even out of curiosity,” a user said. One user was also of the opinion, “I literally puked looking at this. What is this MasterChef like invention.”
