Delhi’s pubs, bars, restaurants and gyms are such businesses that have been severely affected by the last four rounds of the nationwide lockdown. Although some businesses were allowed to function, these businesses didn’t get a go ahead.

To deal with the short of liquidity, Delhi-based famous party place ‘Imperfecto’ has appealed to its customers.

The company is giving away vouchers worth Rs 5,000 for just Rs 2,000 which will be valid of a year i.e June 2021.

Suresh Madan, director of Imperfecto group of restaurant says, ‘Since the lockdown began, we have made payment to every employee and vendors and have not sacked any of them. But they need to understand that we have no inflow of money.”

Pub and dine chain Imperfecto owns around 9 pubs across Delhi-Gurgaon and Noida. But many are in rented premises. With the increasing no. of corona cases it is hard to expect customers even if government allows them to open the pubs.

According to Madan, the situation much depends on the owners of the property as to how they can help in reducing the rent for a year or revenue share. “Else we will have no other option but to surrender,” he says.
